HR Program Specialist

Hello Team, I started my journey with Gila River Resorts & Casinos in October 2009 in the Surveillance department. I spent 13 years learning the daily operations of each department within the Casino through the lens of a camera. It was time to step out from behind the scenes. So I joined the HR department as a program Specialist. It is so exciting to learn something new and be part of such an amazing team. When not at my second home, I enjoy hanging out with my dog Rosie and cat Smokey and playing video games with friends. I am a Star Wars and Lego fan and I have quite the collection of Star Wars Legos. Empire Forever!

“CC” started with the Enterprise in 2004 as a Slot Attendant and advanced to the role of Slot Shift Supervisor in 2016, working at both Wild Horse Pass and Lone Butte properties. It was through her leadership role, where CC discovered her passion for guest service, coaching, creating a positive environment and developing strategies for team member success. She is thrilled that her current role as an HR Program Specialist ( Wellness ) will allow her to merge her two passions of Guest Service & Organizational Wellbeing.

In her personal time, CC enjoys talking with her oldest son who is in the Navy and currently stationed in South Carolina, spending time at the gym lifting weights and participating in HIIT style workouts. She coaches group training and cycling classes and makes it a family affair when her two younger sons and husband participate. if she has any extra time you can find CC in the family room on the sofa streaming Disney plus.
