The Gila River Resorts and Casinos, Security & Surveillance Departments are committed to delivering quality services and exceeding expectations. Through both internal and external partnerships, we are dedicated to mitigating risk and providing a safe and secure environment that protects team members, guests, vendors, and our company assets; while reducing crime, building trust, and creating fun, memorable, and engaging experiences for everyone. The Security Department is dedicated to recognizing potential threats that impact our community and combat the external factors with a strategic approach that is effective and aligned with the vision of our organization. We are committed to upholding the standard of guest service in a professional manner when assisting all GRGE departments as well as outside entities. We strive to maintain the integrity of our department while ensuring the safety of our guests and team members.

What is LiveSafe? The LiveSafe application is the newest two-way communication tool for Security AND you! This mobile application will give the control to you to report incidents, suspicious situations, risk management/safety issues, or an emergency such as a fire to your respective Security Dispatch Centers for immediate response, investigation and mitigation. This application will allow you to attach photos, videos, and even audio to better document the issues that you are reporting.

Using LiveSafe, Security will be able to notify team members of any urgent messages and/or to warn of possible hazards, etc. on property or even before arriving to property using geo fence technology. Other features include an information section on emergency procedures, AED locations and much more; a safety map that will show where some incidents have occurred as well as specific helpful locations at each property that will be coming soon. This will help enhance the Security and Safety of our properties, team members, and our guests.

As a Team Member, you have been invited to download this LiveSafe application to your mobile device. We encourage you to please download the LiveSafe application to be better informed and help the Security and Safety of you and our GRGE family. Risk

The Risk Management Department manages all insurance services and programs for GRGE. Risk Management also manages COVID-19, please see (https://teamworks.gilariver.casino/covid-19-information-resources/ ) for more information.

These insurance benefits include Property Liability, General Liability, Workers’ Compensation and related insurance products. This includes the operation of a comprehensive risk management program that contributes to the health, safety & protection of team members and patrons.

Safety Training

Available in UKG under “UKG Pro Learning”. If you cannot locate a safety training, please contact Jimmy Walker at EXT. 1572.

Notify your Supervisor or email Jacqueline Mitchell, Risk and Loss Control Manager or Charles Anderson, Fire Systems/Safety Manager.

Notify your Supervisor and report to Security immediately. If medical care is needed you will be transported to our Occupational Provider.

Contact Security immediately for medical assistance. You will be asked to complete a witness statement and return it to Security.

Contact Jacqueline Mitchell, Risk and Loss Control Manager via email. Open LiveSafe mobile app and report the concern under Safety Hazard.

Surveillance

The Surveillance Department is dedicated to providing diligent observations and reporting to protect team members, guests, vendors and gaming assets. We maintain effective and proactive communications with all GRGE departments, regulatory agencies, and law enforcement entities to meet common and efficient objectives. We strive to train and keep our team up to date on latest gaming trends and best practices to better protect and enhance the overall integrity of operations while providing a fun-positive atmosphere for our team.
